Are you an outgoing, detail-loving powerhouse who thrives on keeping things running smoothly? Do you love working with people, telling great stories, and making sure every guest feels like they've just had the best day of their trip?
Trail Quest Adventures is a new, locally owned walking tour company in Whistler that's all about connection, nature, and fun. We're looking for a rockstar Assistant Manager to be the glue between our team, guests, and daily operations.
This role blends front-line leadership with back-end coordination. You'll handle phone lines, assign daily tours to guides, manage the reservation system, and jump in as a lead guide when needed.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for bookings and inquiriesmanaging our phone line with warmth and professionalism
- Assign guides to tours and make sure the daily schedule runs like clockwork
- Manage reservations in booking system
- Jump in as a Lead Guide when neededbringing tours to life with storytelling, nature, and local charm
- Train and support new staff to ensure consistency and quality across tours
- Track performance and reviews, keeping the team motivated and on point
- Handle occasional administrative tasks like submitting timesheets and tracking commissions
- Work closely with the owner to support a growing business with heart
Who You Are
- A natural people person who's organized, upbeat, and quick-thinking
- Calm under pressure and thrives on solving problems before they start
- Comfortable managing a calendar, working in Google Drive, and learning new systems or POS tools
- Ideally has experience in guiding, retail, tourism, hospitality, or guest services
- Loves Whistler and enjoys sharing its trails, art, and stories with guests
- Can commit to working throughout our operating season (May 15 - Oct 15)
Job Type: SeasonalContract length: 5 months
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
