Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring the finance team and ensuring adherence to CIRO and OSC standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Manage audit processes and documentation effectively
- Collaborate with tax consultants on provisions
- Ensure operational effectiveness of finance and tax functions
- Foster continuous improvement within the finance team
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- CPA or equivalent certification required
- 10+ years in brokerage or financial services industry
- Excellent communication with senior management
- Strong knowledge of banking and tax regulations
