Job Description
Tim and Tony’s Sushi is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team.
We offer a friendly, supportive work environment with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with food packaging and takeout orders.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Support kitchen staff during busy service hours.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $18.00/hour
- Wage reviews every six months , with opportunities to negotiate pay adjustments based on performance, experience, and responsibilities.
