Medical Radiation Technologist Role
Yonge Diagnostic Center ( Ontario Radiology)
Join our diagnostic imaging team as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) dedicated to delivering high-quality X-ray procedures with a focus on patient care and safety. We seek someone skilled in Bone Mineral Density testing to enhance clinical efficiency. In this vital role, you will perform digital radiographic examinations while adhering to strict safety protocols. A compassionate approach is essential for guiding patients through procedures, ensuring both comfort and cooperation. Your attention to detail will support accurate diagnostics and patient workflow in collaboration with the imaging team. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general digital X-ray examinations safely
• Perform precise Bone Mineral Density scans
• Evaluate images for quality assurance standards
• Maintain a sanitized examination environment
• Complete QA and QC on imaging equipment Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program
• Current registration with CMRITO or CAMRT
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Proficient in digital radiography systems
