The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for a temporary, full-time (35 hrs/wk) Receptionist position starting August 18, 2026 until October 02, 2026. As a member of the Transportation Department, the Receptionist will perform a variety of receptionist duties including directing incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, and a variety of clerical duties. The incumbent is an effective communicator with excellent organization, prioritization, time management and public relations skills. The position will be located at the Education Centre in Airdrie, Alberta.

Responsibilities Include

• Greets, screens and directs callers and general public
• Efficiently manages day-to-day tasks and assigned projects
• Responds and directs requests by RVS staff, parents and affiliated agencies
• Data Entry
• Accepts, distributes and expedites mail, couriered and delivered items

Education/Experience

High School Diploma

• Minimum two years previous experience in a office environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Web base applications
• Previous experience in an educational setting is considered an asset
