Remote Claims Processor at Pets Plus Us
Independence Pet Group
Join Independence Pet Holdings as a Remote Claims Processor to assess pet insurance claims and ensure policy compliance. Evaluate health histories and determine compensation amounts for pets throughout Canada. In this remote role with Pets Plus Us, you will engage directly with veterinary hospitals and clients, reviewing pet medical histories while determining eligibility for insurance claims. Your expertise will guide you in making decisions on claims as you navigate and streamline the claims processing for pet owners and service providers. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and review medical histories from veterinary practices
- Determine eligibility based on insurance policy guidelines
- Communicate claims decisions to policyholders effectively
- Request medical records as necessary for claims processing
- Manage interactions with clients during their pet's treatment
- Minimum 3 years in veterinary field if licensed technician
- 5 years in veterinary field if an unlicensed assistant
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Must reside in Canada
