Assistant Warehouse Manager

```Job Summary```We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assisting Warehouse Manager to join our team. As a Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks including order picking, building, loading and unloading, and utilising warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will have forklift knowledge and experience in shipping and receiving. If you are detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents against shipping documents
- Unload and load trucks using a forklift or reach truck
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly labeled and packaged for safe transport
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the warehouse
- Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and update shipment status
- Conduct basic maths calculations to verify quantities and weights of shipments

- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts- Receive incoming shipments and inspect for accuracy- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging items securely- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
```Skills```- Strong order fulfilment skills with the ability to accurately pick and pack orders- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems- Knowledge of mechanical operations for equipment use and maintenance- Experience in shipping and receiving processes- Ability to operate forklifts or cranes safely and efficiently- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
