As a key member of our Transmission & Distribution Canada division, you will oversee underground cable projects for diverse utility and renewable energy clients. This position calls for an experienced engineer who excels in technical leadership and enjoys mentoring others. Your expertise will shape all phases from feasibility through design and construction, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead planning and design for underground cable projects - Serve as Professional-of-Record for design accuracy - Oversee advanced engineering analyses and calculations - Develop and approve engineering documents and specifications - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated designs
Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering - Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC or Alberta - 10-15 years of experience in underground cable systems - Expertise in thermal analysis and urban routing - Proficiency with tools like CYMCAP and AutoCAD
