YOUR IMPACT
As a Subject Matter Expert with OpenText Professional Services means spearheading transformative initiatives within Enterprise Information Management. As a Client Director, you will drive professional services sales and revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer success across assigned accounts. Your influence will extend across sales, business development, and customer success, positioning you as a pivotal player in shaping organizational strategy and client outcomes.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Lead strategic engagements with key clients to understand their technology landscape, growth plans, and competitive positioning.
- Serve as the primary liaison for OpenText Professional Services (OTPS), expanding our footprint within assigned accounts through proactive relationship management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that address client priorities and pain points, orchestrating cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
- Achieve Services booking targets by driving opportunities from inception to closure, adhering to sales strategy and governance processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Pre-Sales, and Consulting Delivery to ensure seamless handover and execution of client commitments.
- Shape and negotiate deals that align with client needs and compliance standards, leveraging the complete Services portfolio.
- Advance, close, and execute sales opportunities by strategically aligning with the sales roadmap and agreed close plans, ensuring comprehensive sales of the Services portfolio tailored to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and customer data in internal systems to support forecasting and decision-making processes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 10+ years of direct sales experience in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) software or services, with a proven track record of driving large, complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated success in managing commercial aspects of client engagements, from opportunity identification to contract execution.
- Expertise in value and solution selling methodologies, coupled with advanced negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
- Strong understanding of Canadian commercial accounts or public sector dynamics, with deep industry/domain knowledge.
- University degree or equivalent experience in Information Management or IT-related field.
- High-level sales training and certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in English/French is preferred to support professional services and client groups that are located in Canada

- Diriger des engagements stratégiques avec des clients clés pour comprendre leur paysage technologique, leurs plans de croissance et leur positionnement concurrentiel.
- Servir de liaison principale pour les services professionnels OpenText (OTPS), en élargissant notre empreinte au sein des comptes attribués grâce à une gestion proactive des relations.
- Développer et exécuter des plans de compte complets qui répondent aux priorités et aux problèmes des clients, en orchestrant des équipes interfonctionnelles pour une réalisation réussie des projets.
- Atteindre les objectifs de réservation de services en générant des opportunités de la création à la clôture, en adhérant à la stratégie de vente et aux processus de gouvernance.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes internes, y compris les ventes, les avant-ventes et la prestation de conseils, pour assurer un transfert et une exécution fluides des engagements des clients.
- Élaborez et négociez des accords qui correspondent aux besoins des clients et aux normes de conformité, en tirant parti de l'ensemble du portefeuille de services.
- Faire avancer, clôturer et exécuter les opportunités de vente en s'alignant stratégiquement sur la feuille de route des ventes et les plans de clôture convenus, garantissant ainsi des ventes complètes du portefeuille de services adaptés aux besoins des clients.
- Maintenir des données précises sur le pipeline et les clients dans les systèmes internes pour soutenir les processus de prévision et de prise de décision.
CE DONT VOUS AVEZ BESOIN POUR RÉUSSIR
- Plus de 10 ans d'expérience en vente directe dans les logiciels ou services de gestion de l'information d'entreprise (EIM), avec une expérience avérée dans la conduite de cycles de vente importants et complexes.
- Succès démontré dans la gestion des aspects commerciaux des engagements clients, de l'identification des opportunités à l'exécution du contrat.
- Expertise dans les méthodologies de vente de valeur et de solutions, associée à des compétences avancées en négociation et à un esprit stratégique.
- Solide compréhension des comptes commerciaux canadiens ou de la dynamique du secteur public, avec une connaissance approfondie de l'industrie/du domaine.
- Diplôme universitaire ou expérience équivalente en gestion de l'information ou dans un domaine lié à l'informatique.
- Formation et certifications en vente de haut niveau souhaitées.
- La maîtrise de l'anglais/du français est préférable pour soutenir les services professionnels et les groupes de clients situés au Canada.
