Job Responsibility:
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organization's financial stability and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data mining and data collection to analyze risk factors
- Utilize mathematical models to assess and quantify risks
- Collaborate with various departments to understand risk exposure in financial services
- Develop and implement risk management strategies
- Perform risk analysis and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
- Utilize VBA for automation of risk modeling processes
- Negotiate with stakeholders to implement risk management solutions
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of mathematical concepts
- Experience in risk analysis within the financial services industry is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information
- Familiarity with VBA programming is a plus
Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 9 months
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montréal, QC (H3E): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
