Le développeur pipeline Maya collabore avec les responsables du pipeline pour construire un pipeline Maya couvrant la modélisation, le rigging, l'animation et le tracking/matchmove, en utilisant OpenUSD comme fondation. Il ou elle met à profit son expérience en production pour créer des flux de travail intuitifs et auto-documentants, pouvant être rapidement adoptés par des utilisateurs de niveaux de compétence variés, et qui fonctionnent de manière efficace sur des scènes de grande envergure et de complexité extrême.\n

• Résoudre des problèmes complexes dans le domaine des flux de travail du pipeline Maya
• Écrire du code Python de haute qualité, facile à maintenir et bien testé
• Communiquer avec les artistes pour identifier les zones d'inefficacité et aider à recueillir leurs exigences
• Contribuer à la rédaction de briefs techniques et de documentation d'utilisateur

• Passion pour se tenir au courant des dernières fonctionnalités de Maya
• Plus de 8 ans d'expérience dans l'écriture de code pour le pipeline Maya en utilisant Python
• Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale
• Talent avéré pour concevoir des flux de travail intuitifs et conviviaux pour les artistes, sans sacrifier la fonctionnalité
• Compréhension des modèles de programmation orientée objet
• À l'aise avec Git et les tests unitaires
• Désir d'explorer et de comprendre le fonctionnement interne des systèmes complexes
• Expérience en tant qu'artiste utilisant Maya en production, de préférence
• Expérience dans l'écriture d'un pipeline Maya utilisant OpenUSD, de préférence
• Expérience en programmation C++, de préférence

The Maya Pipeline Developer collaborates with Pipeline Leads to build a Maya pipeline that spans Modeling, Rigging, Animation, and Tracking/Matchmove, using OpenUSD as a backbone. They leverage their production experience to create intuitive and self-documenting workflows that can be quickly adopted by users of differing skill levels, and which can operate efficiently on scenes of extreme scale and complexity. 

• Solve complex problems in the domain of Maya pipeline workflows
• Write high quality Python code that is easy to maintain and is well-tested 
• Communicate with artists to identify areas of inefficiency and help gather their requirements
• Contribute to technical briefs and user documentation

• Passion for staying on top of latest features in Maya
• 8+ years experience writing Maya pipeline code using python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated talent for designing intuitive, artist-friendly workflows without sacrificing functionality
• Understanding of object-oriented programming patterns
• Comfortable with git and unit testing
• Desire to probe and understand the inner workings of complex systems
• Experience as an artist using Maya in production preferred
• Experience writing a Maya pipeline using OpenUSD preferred
• Experience programming in C++ preferred
