Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc.

Deliver exceptional health and beauty services in your community as a Pharmacy Assistant with Shoppers Drug Mart. Assist in dispensing prescriptions while ensuring outstanding customer service. In this crucial role, you will help manage prescriptions and deliver essential pharmacy services as defined by the Pharmacy Standards of Practice. Your responsibilities will include customer interactions, prescription preparation, and administrative tasks to support pharmacists. Bring your problem-solving skills and attention to detail to create a positive experience for each customer. Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and gather prescription details
Assist with prescription preparation and data entry
Manage cash register effectively in the dispensary
Answer phone inquiries and refer to pharmacists
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards

Requirements:

High School Diploma required
Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred
Previous pharmacy experience is an advantage
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail with problem-solving abilities
