QAI is seeking a Project Specialist to enhance its Electrical Product Safety Department. With a focus on evaluating and testing products like IT/Hi-Tech, lighting, and hazardous location equipment, you’ll conduct inspections and audits. Collaborate with clients and mentor junior staff while managing numerous projects that vary in complexity.
Key Responsibilities Perform testing according to CSA, UL, and IEC standards.
Conduct inspections and field evaluations for diverse products.
Write and review detailed reports and certifications.
Manage auditing for ISO standards and maintain compliance.
Provide sales support through client meetings and project quotes.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or diploma.
Minimum of 3 years of related testing experience.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Valid BC driver’s license; passport for travel.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
