Job Site Administrator

Job Responsibility:

SUMMARY:

Job Site Administrator is responsible for all job-specific administrative duties, as directed by the Superintendent and/or Site Foreman. Assists in the coordination set out in the site safety management plan: acting as or assigning site first aid attendant; responsible for responding to and documenting all first aid incidents; ensures all new workers receive a site orientation. Maintains site QC binder: ensures all required QC checklists are completed and complied for review by the QC Manager and Owner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These tasks are strictly an outline of essential duties & responsibilities; any other duties may also be assigned when required.

1. Performs Site OH&S Orientation for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors as required.2. Prepares Daily Risk Assessment sheets and weekly Toolbox Meeting forms in collaboration with Field Supervisor. Files all safety documentation in an organized fashion for daily submittal to office.3. Assumes role of or assists the site first aid officer. Treats and/or documents all first aid incidents. Records near misses. Helps site supervisors maintain full compliance with Jakes Construction OH&S Policies and Procedures in all activities on the work site.4. Completes QC checklists in adherence with approved Quality Management Plan. Works closely with quality testing company to ensure testing performed and documented in a timely manner. Files all quality documentation in an organized site quality binder for submittal/review by QC Manager and/or Owner.5. Maintains compliance with Environmental Management Plan. Coordinate with Environmental Monitor to ensure construction documentations have been completed as required. Documents and assists in cleanup of any spills or other environmental incidents.6. Ensures daily job cost and production is tracked in an accurate and timely manner. Enters employee, equipment, and subcontractor hours using B2W Track software. Daily reporting includes coding time and invoices to appropriate cost codes, diarizing the day's work, and tracking the quantity of work completed by designated units of measure.7. Files all employee time cards, subcontracted trucking slips, packing slips and receipts in an organized fashion for daily submittal to office.8. Support Field Supervisors with daily operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

· Understanding of Tracking Accounts, Units of Measure and Production Rates· Experience in construction is considered an asset· Ability to recognize and mitigate hazards· Able to read and understand traffic control plans· Administration experience is an asset· B2W Track software is an asset

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES / QUALIFICATIONS:

· OFA Level 3 First Aid an asset· Valid Class 5 driver's license· Reliable transportation & attendance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS :

· Physically demanding· Ability to walk long distances· Work overtime and/or nightshift as required· On-site administration required

PERFORMANCE REVIEW & OTHER COMMENTS:

· Three (3) month probationary period.· Annual performance review.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
