Key Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level Rigging Artist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex rigs and skins using Maya. You will ensure that each rig is functional, efficient, animator-friendly, and suitable for the visual and technical requirements of the project.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining complex character rigs and skins in Maya.
• Collaborating closely with animation and modeling teams to deliver optimal rigging solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Candidates should have strong knowledge of Maya and Python , along with good experience using the Mgear tool. Experience with Unreal Engine , especially dynamic tools such as Ragdoll, is also important.
• Knowledge of the Vetala plugin will be considered an asset.
• The role also requires a good understanding of anatomy, including facial anatomy, body mechanics, quadruped movement, and the muscular system. Candidates should also understand mechanical systems such as pistons, gears, and other technical structures used in rigging and animation.
