Job Responsibility:
Providing authoritative and technical recommendation to statutory decision makers and reviewing submissions for waste discharge applications
The Environmental Management Technologist provides authoritative and technical recommendations to statutory decision makers or others, respecting the BCER's authorities for regulating waste discharges for the energy industry in BC; including authorities under the Environmental Management Act and Energy Resource Activities Act. These wastes include air emissions, solid and liquid wastes from infrastructure development (pipelines, plants, construction, etc.), drilling, completion, and production operations.
Closing Date: 11p.m., July 11, 2024
Salary: $83,312 to $94,992
An additional 20.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary. An additional 3% Location Allowance will be added to posted salary for northern location.
