Caregiver and House Manager

We are looking for someone to help my parents from 730am-1230pm, Mon -Fri. Live-out, part-time (until their needs increase). It is not strictly a caregiver position - it also includes general "house management". My father, an early Parkinson's patient, is capable of managing his daily routine independently. However, my mother, who has Alzheimer's, needs assistance, particularly during her morning routine. For now, it is mostly cuing, as she can do everything on her own, but her needs will grow. Then the rest of the shift is breakfast prep, medication reminders, a walk, lunch, dinner prep. Cooking and meal planning skills are very important! And strong English communication skills are required. Other duties include laundry, grocery shopping and general tidying. Ensuring the kitchen area remains clean and welcoming is also part of the role. You will occasionally need to accompany my parents to medical appointments. And my Dad enjoys activities out of the house, at which point my mom might need extra companionship (she loves Murder She Wrote and Golden Girls!) A driver's license is a must; we do have a family car that you can use for errands and appointments. There is someone in to help on weekends, so you can work in communication/collaboration with them. Also, my husband and I live in the same house and work from home, so you will rarely be alone! (Part-Time, Live-Out) For morning (nurse-attendant)
