ILSC Finance Administrator

Job Responsibility:

Job Title: Finance Administrator

Location: Remote (must be based in BC, Ontario or Quebec) Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, the Finance Administrator is responsible for overseeing the bookkeeping of the company and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, standards, and company policies, related to the following:

Job Duties:

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Accounting

• Knowledge of full cycle bookkeeping
• Managing interfaces between ERP and accounting system
• Credit card administration, reconciliations, posting and accrual.
• Posting of recurring entries
• Reconciliations of multiple bank accounts
• Reconciliations of prepaids and fixed assets
• Completing Ad hoc tasks and assignment
• Record and process payments for monthly employee Amex statement.
• AP support when required.

• HST/GST reporting and filing.
• Assist with sessional and year end closing.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principle
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (NetSuite)
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detailand ability to manage time.

Education and Experience Required

• Successful completion of post-secondary education preferably in bookkeeping. Previous booking experience is an asset.
• 1-2 years administrative office/customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of NetSuite is a valued asset.
