Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-made architectural Windows / Doors / Panels with custom-made designs, size, colours and other similar configurations. They have a job open for Product Engineer- Design & Engineering Changes ( ECR/ ECO) in the Brampton - Mississauga, ON area . This role is responsible for providing design support and ensuring engineering changes are incorporated. This is on-site 5 days a week.
- Design Engineering initiate ECR
- Ensure BOM are updated as per specification and configuration changes
- Maintain all Engineering documentation
- Identify workflows related to configuration and product specification changes
- Work with internal teams to align processes and improve user interface.
- Update master data with any engineering changes
- Data analytics to identify gaps in configuration set up and product set up
Product Engineer- Design & Engineering Changes ( ECR/ ECO) will ideally have 3-4 years’ experience in CUSTOM made / made to order architectural products like doors / windows and similar within Design Engineering and Product Specification teams . Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Design Engineering or similar are highly preferred; Established experience with updating master Data / BOM / ERP systems is a MUST. Excellent English communication skills are a MUST ; an ability to work independently / in teams is a MUST. Clear Criminal check is required.
