Technical Support Specialist (18-Month Maternity Leave Coverage)

Baxter seeks a Technical Support Specialist for an 18-month maternity leave coverage position in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves providing technical support for medical equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, managing service requests, and processing parts orders through internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and field representatives via phone and email
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on medical equipment
- Analyze equipment problems and determine corrective actions for service operations
- Create and manage customer interactions and service requests in contact management systems
- Process service parts orders, track fulfillment, and manage engineering returns
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems experience
- Technical support, help desk, or service operations background
- Ability to read technical manuals, bulletins, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience documenting customer interactions and managing work orders
- Bilingual English and French preferred
