The Ministry of Corrections and Policing is seeking a motivated, confident and client-service oriented individual as a Reintegration Coordinator in each adult secure custody facility. This is a Permanent Full-Time position at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre.

As a Reintegration Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the Assistant Deputy Director of Programs in the effective delivery of case management to inmates in custody and provide expertise and mentorship to Correctional Officers to promote and develop reintegration plans that align with effective correctional intervention strategies. Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Programs, the successful candidate will develop, implement and monitor integrated case management protocols assigned to and performed by Correctional Officers. This will include the creation of policy guidelines, the development of case management curriculum and the delivery of training where required. You will develop and maintain professional partnerships and relationships and provide integrated services in custody and in the community which includes community partners and stakeholders. You will develop interagency, and community partnerships based on respect and collaborative responsibility. To be considered for this position you will have knowledge of the Correctional Services Act and Regulations, Corrections key challenges and strategies, provincial and local policy. You will have comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated skills in risk assessment, case management, institutional programming and community resources and effective correctional interventions and their application in reintegration planning. To qualify, you would typically have a degree in the social sciences or equivalent and supervisory experience in an institutional corrections environment.
