Accounting Technician for Construction Projects

VCC Entrepreneur Général Inc. seeks an Accounting Technician to manage billing and accounts payable for our diverse construction projects. This challenging role combines financial oversight with teamwork in a supportive environment. Join VCC’s experienced accounting team, ensuring effective financial management across residential and commercial projects. You will handle billing, invoice management, and maintain compliance with financial documents. The role emphasizes accuracy and collaboration with project managers to resolve discrepancies. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue project billing accurately
- Manage accounts payable and verify invoices
- Ensure financial document compliance for projects
- Liaise with project managers on financial issues
- Perform account reconciliations and assist in closings
- DEC in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum two years of accounting experience
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel and Maestro software
