about this team

Global Planning supports the Planning & Allocation function by being the financial stewards of the Product area. Our team has the eagle-eye view of all planning for lululemon. We work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Mainline Planning, FP&A, Sourcing, Strategy, and Product Ops, to provide a company-level view of our growth plans as it relates to Sales, Inventory, and Margin

core responsibilities

The Planner, Global Planning is accountable for driving Global Planning objectives forward through sales planning and analytics, from Topline revenue trends to detailed sales buckets (Regular Price & Markdowns) and Product Level attributes. This person is a leader who drives understanding through stakeholder influence, partnership, investigation and digging into the unknown, enabling focus and growth of our company revenue goals.

• Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly Global Sales planning and analytics, providing guidance, and global point of view, to share within Planning and cross functionally
• Key contributor to cross-functional meetings, including Quarterly Business Review, Topline Open-to-Buy, and Buy Kick Off and Sign Off
• Elevate existing Global Sales reports and tools used as a resource for the Global Planning team
• Complete ad hoc analysis as necessary to dive into product trends

qualifications

• College certificate or University degree is required, preferably in Commerce or Business Administration
• 3-5 Years of Planning experience or progressive financial analysis and reporting experience
• Expert knowledge of Excel is required
• Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal) & extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize
• Detail orientated & analytical
• Results oriented - strong sense of motivation
• Self directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful
• Capable of effective multiple demand management from a variety of sources and adapts well to change.
• Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $104,600-$137,300   annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
