The hotel is currently recruiting a Bartender. This position is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests and customers. They are able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers’ needs and expectations. Your Role

As a Bartender , you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience—creating memorable moments through great drinks, genuine hospitality, and an energetic atmosphere. You’ll work closely with our Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional bar environment.

The Bartender is primarily responsible for:

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and engaging approach, creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive;
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards;
• Provide knowledgeable and personalized recommendations on beverages, menu offerings, and pairings;
• Engage with guests throughout their experience, anticipate their needs, and build positive relationships that encourage repeat visits;
• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders while ensuring timely and attentive service;
• Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage menu, seasonal offerings, promotions, and daily features;
• Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times and comply with Smart Serve requirements, liquor laws, and company policies;
• Accurately process cash, credit, and room charges and complete required end-of-shift cash-outs and paperwork;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including glassware, garnishes, beverages, and other supplies;
• Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory preparation, restocking, and maintaining appropriate par levels;
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and loss-prevention procedures;
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen team members, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient service;
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly, escalating concerns when necessary;
• Support special events, private functions, and high-volume service periods as required;
• Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment while helping create an atmosphere guests want to return to;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Supervisor or Manager.

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum two year experience in a Bartending role, hospitality industry is an asset;
• Exceptional customer service skills;
• Smart Serve Certification;
• Food Handling Certification is an asset;

• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and multitasking skills;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and achieve departmental and hotel financial objectives;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across all departments;
• Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset;
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
