Sports School Sales Desk Lead Hand - Winter 2026/27

Compensation Information: $22.45 per hour

Physical Requirement: Light; work activities involve handling loads up to 10 kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding.

• Proficient use of spoken and written English.
• Strong computer and cash handling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual team player.
• Previous customer/guest service experience
• A good knowledge of the regional area and/or willingness to learn.
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task and work to tight timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contact position for guests regarding lessons, lift tickets, and resort information via in-person, emails, and over the phone.
• Support in successfully executing the Nancy Greene International Race Centre as well as acting as a liaison between Sun Peaks LLP and schools, Corporate and First Nations Groups.
• Contact position for guests regarding lessons, lift tickets, and resort information via in- person, emails, and over the phone.
• Arrange tickets with race teams and coordinating delivery to team’s accommodations.
• Input orders into POS system RTP.
• Coordinate school groups arriving at the resort. Assisting groups through rentals and delivering them to the on- snow coordinator.
• Preparing and fulfilling orders and contacting guests for resort lessons.
• Deals with guests in an efficient, courteous, respectful, and friendly manner.
• Demonstrates a commitment to exceed guest expectations.
• Manage all transactions in a secure and accurate manner.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and efficient in the workplace.
• Always follow company policies and procedures.
• Security and accountability for orders and payments.
• Balancing daily sales with computer reports.
• Ensure that a good example is always set for all guest services staff, keeping a positive work environment for everyone.
• Ensure email folders are up to date and tidy – emails waiting for information are being followed up with by the correct people/person.
• Assist with training of staff as needed.
• Check whether the weekly communication is reviewed by all employees and bring any new information to Supervisors to be added.
• Responsible for making sure opening and closing procedures are complete, as well as checking orders are fulfilled at the end of each day.
• Ensure breaks and lunches are covered.
• Perform all other duties as required by Supervisors or Managers of the Guest Services department.
