Registered Care Aide with a Car-Langley for Cluster Shift

Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car, available in the Langley area to join our growing team for cluster shifts. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:

Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Job Requirements:

Driver's License and own vehicle is a MUST!
Genuinely concerned about helping people
Access to a mobile phone
HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number is a MUST
Current First Aid and CPR Training
Criminal Record Check
Available in the morning is a Must!
