Director Enterprise Data Management
BMO
Lead enterprise data management at BMO in Toronto, applying data governance and cloud systems expertise across the data asset lifecycle.
As Director, Data Management, you will design, build, and operate ETL pipelines, modeling solutions, and secure data processing systems. The work spans data quality, data integrity, data privacy, and enterprise cloud management. You will serve as a senior specialist resource across BMO, addressing complex and ambiguous challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design ETL pipelines and data modeling solutions
- Manage data integration, validation, quality, and security
- Develop scalable batch and real-time processing systems
- Support data management policies, standards, and sharing procedures
- Protect databases and archives from breaches and data loss
Requirements:
- Typically nine or more years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in a related field
- Expertise in data governance and enterprise data management
- Knowledge of data fabric, ontology design, and semantic layers
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
