Operations Director

Job Responsibility:

As the Operations Director, you will be at the forefront of our regional operations, leading a talented team and driving continuous improvement across all areas of our organization. Reporting directly to the CEO (located in Germany), you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Capol Inc. and make a significant impact on our success.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: You will ensure the highest level of service for our customers by maintaining product availability and meeting their expectations.
• Team Management: You will provide visionary leadership to a team of direct reports from Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Production, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Safety and Quality: You will lead by example in upholding safety and quality as top priorities throughout operations, implementing policies and procedures to protect our employees and facilities.
• Process Optimization: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency, particularly within our small manufacturing operation.
• Continuous Improvement: You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and creativity among your team members.
• Hands-On Management: In this hands-on role, you will spend 90% of your time on the production floor, directly engaging with the team and overseeing daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: You bring 5+ years of work experience and experience in a similar role, preferably within the food production industry.
• Educational Background: You hold a degree in engineering or a related field, equipping you with the technical expertise needed for success.
• Leadership Excellence: You have a proven track record of leadership and achievement, with a focus on driving results and delivering operational excellence.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP and a strong understanding of production, quality, and EHS standards are essential.
• Growth Mindset: You possess a growth mindset, with a keen interest in expanding your responsibilities and making a positive impact on our organization.
• Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where collaboration and teamwork are essential to success.
• Language: You are fluent in both English and French (written & oral)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
