Regional Vice President, Western Canada & Ontario, SME

The position could be available in any major city within Western Canada.

As Regional Vice President , Western Canada & Ontario , SME Banking at National Bank , you w ill be acting as a strategic leader responsible for accelerating growth across high-potential markets while helping shape the future of a key priority business segment. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact through your expertise in relationship management , leadership in b usiness /commerci al banking , business development, strategic planning and business transformation.

Your role

• Define and execute growth strategies to expand the SME Banking business across Ontario and Western Canada.
• Lead, coach, and support regional leadership teams to achieve business objectives and drive market expansion.
• Play a piv otal rol e in the development of the national SME Banking strategy and oversee the successful execution of transformation initiatives.
• Oversee strategic projects related to client segmentation, distribution models, and new business development opportunities , playin g a pi votal role in shaping and advancing the se gment’s deposit strate gy .
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the organization to identify growth s trategies and deliver client-focused solutions.
• Ensure sound risk management practices while supporting the achievement of regional and national business objectives.

Within the SME Banking sector, you will be part of the national leadership team and report to the Vice President, SME Banking . Prerequisites

• Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management, or a related field.
• Have a t least 10 years of frontline sales roles experience in commercial banking and /or business banking.
• Have at least 5 years of experience leading managers and senior leadership teams.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in commercial credit, growth strategy, and business development.
• Have significant experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives or strategic business programs.
• Have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in complex business environments.
