Job Title: Senior AI Java Application Developer (Java Stack)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Work From Office
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior AI Application Developer with 8+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AI application development, Agentic AI workflow orchestration, TypeScript, REST APIs, Microservices, and relational databases . Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD is highly preferred.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture .
- Experience developing AI-powered enterprise applications .
- Hands-on experience with AI Agentic Workflow Orchestration and multi-agent systems.
- Strong experience in TypeScript and modern UI frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs .
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with asynchronous/background task processing (Django background tasks or similar workflow automation tools).
- Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience with cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS, or GCP ).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Build scalable AI application architectures and implement enterprise-grade solutions.
- Develop and orchestrate AI Agentic workflows for complex multi-agent systems.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices integrating enterprise and AI platforms.
- Build responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and modern front-end technologies.
- Develop and optimize asynchronous/background processing workflows.
- Design, optimize, and maintain Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
- Deploy applications across on-premise and cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Perform code reviews and ensure application quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, deployments, and operational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and AI integration frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
