We are looking for a Senior Java developer,
on contract, for one of our major clients in Ontario. The work is remote.

Senior Enterprise Java Developer and Lead <\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

The technical requirements for the Java Lead are
the same as that of Java developer with the additional experience in managing a
team of developers. <\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited
institution <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>8+ years of relevant professional
experience in business or technology as a developer. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Exceptional communication and
collaboration skills including experience working with technical and
non -technical stakeholders <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Java developer responsibilities include
designing and developing web applications to deliver high -performance and
responsive web applications. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Proficient in Java and Object -Oriented
design patterns <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Knowledgeable with Relational Databases
such as MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Strong experience in Service/System
Integrations for developing RESTful web services or APIs & implementing and
utilizing third party Web services. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Agile Development Processes and Tools
(Jira, Confluence, Scrum, etc.)<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with Source Control tools,
such as Git, automated build setup, and deployment procedures <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with the following
technologies: <\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> Java frameworks such as Spring Boot <\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> DBMS (Oracle v19)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> WebLogic / JDK (WLS v14)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> JDK (v11)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> O/S (Solaris, RHEL Linux)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> Web App Framework (Java Struts v2.5x <\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> Cyber Security /IAA (MFA, Certificates,
Encryption to MF)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> Infrastructure (On -Prem, Azure Cloud)<\/span>
<\/p>

° <\/span><\/span><\/span> DevOps CD/CI process <\/span><\/span>

Requirements <\/h3>

The Java lead must additionally have: <\/span>

<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Lead and coordinate development
activities and be the anchor of technical expertise with internal and onsite
technical teams. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Provide leadership and mentorship
within project teams <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Interface with clients, software
professionals and consultants and business stakeholders to develop solutions <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Ability to translate business
requirements into technical requirements. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Contribute to all phases of the
development lifecycle. <\/span>
