At East Kootenay Regional Hospital, your expertise propels hope and exceptional care. As the regional Trauma and ICU Referral Centre, EKRH sees approximately 23,000 emergency patient visits per year, cared for by our team of 10 emergency physicians. Qualifications
- You'll hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- You'll have, or be eligible for, your Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
- You’ll have, or be eligible for, your CCFP (EM). You will also be considered if you have, or are eligible for, your CCFP and have emergency experience.
- If you trained in the US, hold ABMS board certification in internal medicine, and are already authorized to work in Canada, you are invited to apply for a locum. To determine if you meet the criteria for the USA certified class licensure, please click here.
- To practice medicine here, you’ll have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
