Emergency Medical Responder Casual Role

Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Medical Responder in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This casual shift position involves delivering immediate medical care and ensuring compliance with safety policies. We are actively seeking experienced Emergency Medical Responders for casual rotational work at various Alberta work sites. Successful candidates will exhibit strong knowledge of HSE’s Medical Control Guidelines and possess a valid registration as an EMR. Your focus will be on providing professional onsite medical care while ensuring the safety and dignity of patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with HSE Medical Control Guidelines and safety policies
- Report to the station manager and follow job specifications
- Provide immediate care to injured workers and arrange medical transport
- Participate in New Hire Orientation and mentorship program
- Use personal protective equipment as required
- Current EMR registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Experience in industrial or oil & gas sectors preferred
- Physically fit for adverse weather conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
