Aeromedical Emergency Services has provided premier emergency medical care by ground and air since 1988. In collaboration with the Dene Tha' First Nation and Little Red River Cree Nation, we serve the communities of Treaty 8, High Level, Fort Vermilion and surrounding areas, providing access to life‑saving services with a focus on professionalism and patient‑centered care.
Description:
Emergency Medical Responders at Aeromedical enjoy a unique opportunity for accelerated career advancement uncommon to the industry. In our dynamic working environment, EMRs are enabled to operate in many domains where a variety of skills are tested and cultivated. Successful candidates will be trained to operate in ground, air, and clinical care practices, as well as have the opportunity to expand into a variety of diverse management and mentorship roles. The Aeromedical team is proud to be among the best trained and most proficient practitioners in the province.

- Fort Vermilion
- Chateh
Schedule:
Full‑Time, Core‑Flex, Rotational (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
Compensation:
Our total compensation package includes a competitive salary, travel allowance, benefits, and RRSP matching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and compassionate pre‑hospital care to patients and their families in air, ground, and clinical settings.
- Liaise and collaborate with fire and police services.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care records and reports.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Emergency Medical Responder in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- BLS.
- Valid Alberta Class 4 (or equivalent) driver license and clean driving abstract.
