Senior Graphic Designer

Viva Naturals is searching for a creative and fearless fast learner who truly enjoys working on multiple projects at the same time and stays up-to-date with knowledge of industry platforms and software. 

The role: 

• 
  

  Develop creative designs for a range of projects for print, packaging, websites, mobile apps, videos and emails and adapt existing artwork as needed under the direction and guidance of the COS



• 
  

  Responsible for design from concept to completion, including coming up with fresh, original and impactful concepts; ensuring a consistent, coherent and powerful brand experience that is relevant to the brand's target audience; defining brand personality and maintaining a consistent visual/verbal identity



• Collaborating with the senior copy writer 


• 
  

  Deliver professional quality marketing materials and package ready creative files 



• 
  

  Participate in ideation sessions and provide creative concept solutions, design expertise and feedback to the team 



• 
  

  Collaborate with the team to build various components for our digital campaigns, websites and microsites with a thorough understanding of UX design



• 
  

  Contribute to various additional projects as assigned and respond to the creative needs of the business while turning around quality design files within tight timelines



• 
  

  Function as our in house photographer (we have a small studio)

Your characteristics: 

• 
  

  You have an excellent track record in working in an extremely fast-paced, multi-disciplinary deadline-driven environment 



• 
  

  You are unbelievably detail oriented and have a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns  



• 
  

  5+ years of experience as a graphic designer working with multiple, complex design projects both online and print 



• 
  

  3+ years of experience in packaging design 



• 
  

  Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and knowledge of UI/UX design 



• 
  

  Able to respond to urgent requests in a highly organized and positive manner



• 
  

  Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written



• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret a creative brief into effective visual communication and compelling brand marketing materials 



• 
  

  Experience with photography, web and digital marketing 



• 
  

  A strong design portfolio that will showcase your ability to design for web, email, social, microsites

Our Location:

We recently moved into a beautiful office customized just for us (it even includes a gym and yoga studio!). The office is conveniently located at Yonge & Sheppard in Toronto steps from the Sheppard subway station.
