Position Overview
Associate Lawyer – Turf: Downtown Toronto, Ontario. ORP Law is a boutique firm established in 1994, specializing in the defence of insurance-related cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the defence of insurance coverage and non-commodity/complex litigation matters.
- Conduct research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
- Manage case logistics and contribute to practice‑management initiatives.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in insurance law or related practice.
- Strong research, drafting, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated capacity for practice‑management tasks.
