Paid Media & SEO-GEO Specialist

As the Paid Media & SEO-GEO Specialist, your primary focus will be to execute, monitor and optimize paid media, SEO and GEO strategies that drive qualified traffic, leads and sales across Toromont’s business units. You will manage and optimize campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other digital media channels. You will also support organic search visibility through technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO and Generative Engine Optimization initiatives designed to improve Toromont’s visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences. Working closely with the Manager, Performance Marketing & Channels, internal marketing teams and external agencies, you will use performance data, audience insights and industry best practices to identify opportunities, make recommendations and continuously improve campaign and search performance. This position is part of the Digital Marketing team and reports to the Manager, Performance Marketing & Channels.

What you can expect:

• Execute, monitor and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other digital media platforms to generate qualified traffic, leads and sales.


• Implement and monitor SEO and GEO initiatives, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, local SEO, content recommendations and optimization for AI-powered search experiences.


• Analyze campaign, website and search performance, prepare reports and dashboards, and translate data into actionable recommendations to improve traffic quality, conversions and return on advertising spend.


• Support the development of campaign plans, channel recommendations, audience strategies, forecasts and media budget allocations based on business objectives and historical performance.


• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies and development partners to support campaign tracking, conversion measurement, audience creation, landing-page optimization and testing initiatives.


• Monitor search trends, competitor activity, platform developments and emerging AI-search behaviours to identify opportunities and share recommendations with the Digital Marketing team.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

  Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, e-commerce, business or a related field



• 
  

  3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing paid media and SEO initiatives



• 
  

  Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads



• 
  

  Experience with additional platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Advertising, YouTube or programmatic advertising is an asset



• 
  

  Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Looker Studio



• 
  

  Experience with keyword research, technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO and content optimization



• 
  

  Understanding of Generative Engine Optimization, AI-powered search experiences and the evolving impact of AI on organic search



• 
  

  Experience with conversion tracking, advertising pixels, UTM parameters and campaign measurement



• 
  

  Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating data into actionable recommendations



• 
  

  Familiarity with CRM platforms, lead tracking and offline conversion measurement is an asset



• 
  

  Experience with landing-page optimization and A/B testing is an asset



• 
  

  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities

  Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills

  Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, agencies and external partners
