Our client a well-established and growing full-service law firm with multiple offices across Western Canada is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its Chilliwack office. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident real estate professional looking to join a collaborative team with a strong reputation for client service and professional excellence.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will independently manage a busy residential conveyancing practice while working closely with lawyers clients lenders and real estate professionals to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete residential conveyancing transactions including purchases sales mortgages and builder transactions.
- Conduct title searches and review title documentation to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions with clients financial institutions real estate agents and other stakeholders.
- Review legal documents and perform due diligence to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare closing documents statements of adjustments and facilitate the completion of transactions.
- Maintain accurate file records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Deliver exceptional client service throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in residential real estate conveyancing.
- Ability to independently manage approximately 2030 transactions per month .
- Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures and land title processes.
- Excellent organizational time management and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism attention to detail and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Unity GoVeyance Resolve or similar conveyancing software is considered an asset.
- Experience with commercial real estate and/or wills & estates is an asset but not required.
