- Perform tests and accurately report analytical results
- Conduct genomic analyses for pediatric disorders
- Prepare and manage samples while maintaining documentation
- Troubleshoot testing issues and report findings to supervisors
- Monitor quality control and maintain equipment functionality
- Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technology in Cytogenetics
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Solid technical competency in cytogenetic practices
- Excellent decision-making and detail-oriented skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure
