Senior Accountant for Financial Analysis

Join our client’s team as a detail-oriented Senior Accountant focused on comprehensive financial analyses. This role involves managing accounting operations and ensuring tax compliance while supporting audits. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of accounting experience and hold a CPA designation. You'll conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses while overseeing general ledger functions and analyzing financial performance trends. Advanced Excel skills are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial analyses on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Research accounting issues to adhere to GAAP standards
• Analyze cost variances to track financial performance trends
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and tax compliance
• Manage daily operations of accounts receivable and payable Requirements:
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• CPA designation and advanced Excel expertise
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare statements
• Experience in manufacturing or mining is an asset Bring your accounting expertise and analytical skills to drive financial success.
