Senior Financial Accountant – Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations

Location: Falconbridge, Greater Sudbury, Ontario – 100% site-based.

This is a full-time, permanent unionized position.

Responsibilities

• Overall cost control and financial reporting at the site.
• Continuing development and maintenance of information systems emphasizing cost control.
• Ensure accurate and complete financial reporting for the business unit or department in accordance with company policies, accepted accounting principles and on‑site needs.
• Prepare the financial portion of the site annual budget.

Qualifications

• Recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA), or current enrollment in the CPA designation program with good standing, or meeting the requirements to enroll.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Several years of related experience considered an asset, preferably in the mining or resource industries.
• Robust personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement.
