Job Responsibility:

Front end Architect

In search of a Front-End Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable design systems ensuring consistency and alignment with architectural standards. Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate new front-end technologies, provide technical mentorship, and support established development methods. Communicate solutions and progress updates clearly to team members, address challenging issues, and promote technical improvement efforts.

In this role, you will

• Creates and leads all aspects of the architectural design of design systems ensuring accessibility scalability and consistency across medium to large sized projects with a focus on web components and atomic design systems.
• Ensures the frontend architecture is communicated understood and adhered to by the design and development teams.
• Works on multiple frontend projects handling time effectively while proactively assessing risk and dependencies specific to frontend technologies.
• Partners with peer architects on large projects to provide ongoing frontend architecture oversight throughout the development lifecycle.
• Evaluates and recommends emerging trends in frontend design and development strategies assessing their applicability in the design system environment.
• Evaluates and makes recommendations for build versus buy decisions specifically for frontend libraries and tools.
• Ensures consistency with frontend architectural standards for assigned projects.
• Writes design specifications and other user documentation dedicated to frontend components and design system usage.
• Addresses and resolves intricate frontend problems and technical issues by considering a complete and preventive viewpoint across various systems and technologies.
• Supports and champions frontend technical change initiatives ensuring alignment with design system goals.
• Identifies technical risks in frontend projects and supports mitigation efforts.
• Communicates frontend solutions and technical designs to business unit executives technology management peers and development staff.
• Collaborates in setting frontend development guidelines and standard methodologies for the design system.
• Reviews frontend technical designs to ensure compliance with standards and design system principles.

What you'll need to succeed (required skills)

• Overall 12+ years of hands-on experience in guide in frontend technology domains such as React Angular or Vue.js.
