Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for improvements to the product flow of raw materials through to the finished product delivery to the customer.

• Scheduling of all incoming and outgoing loads at the Distribution Centre
• Review and prepare release times for Tissue & Diaper loads as well maintaining the online shipping schedule
• Communicate with Traffic Department on appointment times for load tendering
• Complete regular reporting requirements in an accurate and timely fashion
• Review and respond to any inventory notes/cuts reports related to on-time delivery of stock transfers
• Book appointments with customer Pick Up Carriers & inbound loads
• Execute departmental Continous Improvement projects as assigned
• Work with the Logistics Leadership team to help automate and improve the functionality of Raw Material and Finished products at the site
• Maintain and improve the current SOP database, as well as the ability to track all aspects in conformance with our safety standards.

• Completion of a diploma/degree, or related business experience;
• 2-5 years logistics experience
• Power BI Experience is an asset
