Location: Surrey, BC
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Snapy Snacks is seeking an experienced and dependable Chef / Kitchen Lead to join our growing team.
Our menu features a vibrant mix of paninis, bowls, wraps, pasta, noodles, snacks, sauces and street-food-inspired dishes. We are looking for someone who can deliver excellent flavor, attractive presentation and consistent quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards
* Manage daily food preparation, fillings, sauces and ingredient setup
* Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation
* Monitor ingredient freshness, storage and stock levels
* Minimize food waste and support effective food-cost control
* Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe kitchen
* Handle multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff for accurate and timely service
* Assist with new menu development and improvements to kitchen workflow
* Support and train kitchen team members as required
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, Line Cook or Kitchen Lead
* Experience with fast-casual, café, street food or fusion cuisine preferred
* Strong food preparation, cooking and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain quality and consistency during busy periods
* Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
* Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
* Food Safe certification is preferred
