This role includes the following job responsibilities: <\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>

• Work alongside and under direction of a Senior Technician, Project Manager or Field Project Engineer. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
    • Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain client systems <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      • Take responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed including organizing and maintaining <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
        • Field Service .CA files, drawings, reports and configurations in both paper and electronic format <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>
          • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Field installation of control programs (QSC, ETC Lighting, Crestron) – upload and download capability <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>
            • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Field service support of networked devices (Switches, Routers, WAPs)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/li><\/ul>
              • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Perform service/install tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to pulling cable, low voltage terminations, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and hanging ceiling mounts <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                <\/li><\/ul>
                • Provide end -user client training <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                  <\/li><\/ul>
                  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Adhere to and understand WSIB/Worksafe standards for all phases of the job <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                    <\/li><\/ul>
                    • Setup and troubleshoot various systems as required <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li><\/ul>
                      • Represent both the Company and its clients, professionally and respectfully. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                        <\/li><\/ul>
                        • Local and out of town travel required (cost covered by FS)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                          <\/li><\/ul>
                          • Working at heights on aerial lifts and ladders <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                            <\/li><\/ul>
                            • Manages own time to perform within defined schedule and <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Other duties assigned as needed <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

                                      • Basic Mac & PC knowledge <\/span><\/span><\/span>

                                        • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control systems <\/span><\/span><\/span>
                                          <\/li><\/ul>
                                          • Minimum of High School Diploma <\/span><\/span><\/span>
                                            <\/li><\/ul>
                                            • Technical Theatre or Electronics Technician formal education preferred <\/span><\/span><\/span>
                                              <\/li><\/ul>
                                              • Basic Troubleshooting logic <\/span><\/span><\/span>
                                                <\/li><\/ul>
                                                • 3 -4 years prior AV and or theatrical experience preferred <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                                                  <\/li>
                                                • Ability to clear all background checks required for government security clearances. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
