Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Floor Manager to lead daily operations within our bustling restaurant environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, and smooth team coordination. Your leadership will drive a positive dining experience for guests while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer interactions to ensure high-quality service.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Manage cash handling processes using POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms; reconcile registers at shift end.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation that meets quality standards.
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and safety practices throughout the premises.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Implement operational improvements based on feedback and performance metrics to optimize efficiency.

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant setting with a strong background in team management.
• Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
• Experience with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or equivalent cash handling platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively in fast-paced environments like hospitality venues or hotels.
• Prior restaurant experience encompassing front-of-house service, serving, barista duties or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences for guests.
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all restaurant functions.
