The Warehouse Specialist and Courier Driver is responsible for carrying out inventory duties and delivering products to our retail locations in the Bow Valley, Calgary, and other locations across Alberta based on business needs.
This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our Canmore, Alberta workshop working Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.What you'll be doing
- Safely load and unload skids and boxes of products, either manually and/or with a forklift
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory both digitally and physically
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor to complete cycle counts
- Execute timely restocking of warehouse shelves to ensure the availability of the inventory at all times
- Operate company vehicles, including commercial vans and trucks, to transport goods as needed
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment, including the maintenance of equipment and workspace cleanliness
Does this sound like you?
- Capable of handing physically demanding work and must be comfortable lifting and handling weight up to 50lbs (23kg)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and can provide a complete driver's abstract
- Previous forklift experience is an asset
- Previous driving or courier experience for commercial use is an asset
- Goal/task-oriented with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, self-motivated, self-starter
- Intermediate written and spoken English skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to learn and adapt easily to new methods
- Competent in basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
- Ability to work in a highly scented environment
