About the Opportunity

• Manage the global tax compliance calendar, ensuring timely and accurate filings across multiple jurisdictions, while overseeing external preparers and tax advisors.
• Coordinate responses to tax audits and authority inquiries, including preparation of supporting documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor nexus, employee mobility and new-entity activity, tracking exposures and implementing controls to mitigate inadvertent permanent establishment risk.
• Monitor and interpret international tax legislation, including Pillar 2 global minimum tax and EIFEL interest limitation rules, and develop related documentation and reporting processes.
• Maintain the enterprise tax risk register, proactively identifying, assessing and escalating emerging tax exposures.
• Prepare the global income tax provision under ASC 740 in accordance with US GAAP, including related analyses and reporting.
• Design, implement and maintain tax documentation and internal controls aligned with SOX-like standards, and support executive-level risk reporting.
• Support the development of a globally optimized tax structure through transfer pricing documentation, IP planning and effective tax rate management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on tax implications associated with products, business operations, market expansion, R&D tax credits and jurisdictional eligibility.
• Support tax due diligence and post-acquisition integration, mentor junior tax team members, and contribute to ad hoc tax and finance projects.

About You

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA or CA).
• 8 years of progressive tax experience, ideally spanning public accounting and an in-house role at a multinational or technology company.
• 2-3 years minimum of manager or senior manager level experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP income tax accounting.
• Hands-on experience with both corporate income tax and indirect tax.

Salary Range
$130,000 - $170,000/year
