Senior Paralegal

Job Responsibility:

About the Role:

In this role, the Senior Paralegal will be joining our team and will provide support and conduct research to assist our General Counsel. You will report directly to Titanium's General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and work closely with members of the Human Resources, Sales, and Operations teams. The Senior Paralegal will focus primarily on reviewing commercial contracts, supporting and preparation for various litigation matters, and ensuring compliance with various legal and regulatory requirements. At the same time, you will also have exposure to all areas of the law that arise and intersect with Titanium's everyday business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist the in-house legal department in the practice areas of corporate law, employment law,
• Draft and revise agreements, releases, and other legal documentation with the view to protecting Company rights and minimizing risks
• Provide interpretation and clarification, if necessary, of the Company's stipulated requirements and legal position in addressing issues, internally or externally
• Provide legal research and writing support related to corporate and employment law, technology, IT procurement, privacy, and other commercial contracts
• Conduct all matters in a professional manner, with integrity and accountability

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in the legal field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Paralegal, Law Clerk or Legal Assistant with exposure to corporate law in both law firm or in-house experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and employment law is an asset
• Experience preparing for litigation is preferred
