Housekeeper Wanted - Weekday Housekeeper Needed - Cleaning, Laundry, Dishes & Organization $20hr

General Summary My wife Nicole and I are looking for a dependable weekday housekeeper to help keep our home clean, organized and running smoothly. We need help with dishes, laundry, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, general tidying, closets and household organization. We currently live in an apartment in Cambridge and expect to move into a house within the next couple of months, where we would ideally like to continue the arrangement. Detailed Job Description We are looking for someone reliable to come approximately 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday, to take care of the regular household chores that build up during the workweek. Nicole works from home, and I work long hours. Our goal is simple: we want to take the routine chores off our plates so that after work Nicole can cook dinner, walk the dog and enjoy her evening, and I can come home without needing to spend the night cleaning, doing laundry or catching up on dishes. Typical responsibilities would include:

• Washing, drying, folding and putting away laundry
• Doing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean
• Cleaning and maintaining the bathroom
• Wiping counters and surfaces
• Sweeping, vacuuming and general floor upkeep
• General tidying and putting things back where they belong
• Organizing closets, cupboards and storage areas
• Making beds and keeping bedrooms tidy
• Helping us declutter and stay organized
• Handling other normal household chores as needed

We are not expecting every task to be completed every single day. The idea is to look around, see what needs attention most, and help keep everything under control throughout the week. We also have a small, friendly 15-pound dog in the home, so whoever we hire should be comfortable around dogs. Pet care is not a required part of the position. We would really value someone who is trustworthy, dependable, organized and comfortable taking initiative without needing a detailed list every visit. We currently live in an apartment, so the workload is manageable. Since we expect to move into a house in roughly two months, there is also the opportunity for this to become a longer-term arrangement at our new home.
